Engaging with Constituents to Make Decisions Together with OUR

Government agencies are tasked with balancing budgets while meeting the needs of the people they serve. Responding to those needs and ensuring that staff is equipped to be the best public servant possible.

The OUR social platform co-brands with any agency and helps leaders make sound decisions by streamlining community engagement and sentiment gathering. Powered by data visualizations and AI, OUR provides real-time, dynamic polling that is 6x more engaging than standard surveys.

Multimedia content with embedded polls can be posted in English and Spanish on any device, saving time and money, and allowing leaders to test ideas and anticipate outcomes. With OUR, the need to hire outside consultants for surveys is a thing of the past.

A poll question can be posted to the entire community or targeted to a specific group, e.g., residents, property owners, business leaders or partners to gather a 360° perspective. OUR community moderators then analyze responses by demographic and time for granular reporting, simplifying presentations. Users can remain anonymous or reveal their identity at any time. Unlike traditional social media, moderators can keep comments private from view or make them public, turning opinions into insights without compromising privacy.

OUR has proven to be an essential tool by opening dialogue outside of bargaining. Admins discover concerns before issues become insurmountable, which is essential to staff morale. Steady engagement is particularly important given challenges such as uncertainty of tax income, unbudgeted expenses resulting from economic uncertainty and natural disasters.

Surveys get lost in emails, resulting in response rates often as low as 5%. A current OUR community moderator realized a 95% response rate on their latest poll. OUR increases inclusion and participation by replacing taxing, time-lagged surveys and town hall meetings with an on-the-go method of gathering feedback that is more reflective of the community.

Community leaders are often forced to make decisions based on low response rates and limited feedback, resulting in unreliable stakeholder sentiment. Meanwhile, misinformation on social media continues to polarize society, while media giants misuse personal data. The OUR app reaches across generations by gamifying civic participation through responsible AI.

Engagement should be ongoing. On OUR, agencies and the people they serve find common ground to shape their community together.
