For the webplatform, visit the OurCo.com home page, click the “Log In” box on the upper right of screen. From your smartphone, download the app from GooglePlay or Apple and use the search bar at the top of your screen to find your community. If you scroll down, you should see a list of all available communities. Remember to join your specific community.

Scroll down to the bottom of the post, below the text, images, or polls. Click the speech bubble at the bottom right of the post, write your comment, and press the paper airplane on the right once you’re ready to send it.
Although comments are viewed only by your community moderator, the number to the left of the speech bubble icon lists the number of comments on a post.

Click on your name on the upper left side of the screen. From here, click on the yellow button labeled “edit profile.” You will then be able to edit your name, date of birth, language, bio, and other demographic information.

After selecting your desired answer, click the words “Public (change)” directly below the poll question. If the words “Anonymous (change)” appear, your answers will be posted anonymously. This setting can be adjusted after responding to a poll through the exact same process.

Yes! We encourage users to join other communities to which they belong. However, keep in mind that not all communities are open to the general public.
We also encourage people to reach out to community leaders whom they would like to sign up for OUR so they too can benefit from the platform.
Answers for moderators

After logging in to your account, you should see a button on the left side of the screen labelled “create post." From here, you can decide what images, text, or polls the post should include.
Once these parts are completed, click next, and change any settings for the post. Make sure to select the correct community you would like to post to be shown in, under the tab “select community” and that you have verified which groups in your community you are trying to reach.

Scroll down to the bottom of the post, below the text, images, and polls.
Click the graph at the bottom right of the post, and the demographic results will appear on the screen.
Use the arrow button to sort and use the “filter results” button at the bottom left to filter for relevant categories.
On the right, the “reached” tab shows each person who has responded, and the “results” tab shows the demographic information and poll choices of respondents.

Groups and subgroups are subdivisions within an OUR community. You can think of your community like a school district, with “groups” representing different schools, and “subgroups” representing classrooms on those campuses.

OurCo provides data reports to subscribers who sign up for the tier that provides this service.

Open Polling is a feature you can enable to email a post to people not already signed up for your OUR community. Anyone with the link can answer, regardless of whether they’re a member of your OUR community or not.
It’s a great way to get answers from people who are not regular users of the OUR platform and can help you increase your community..
OUR is a community building tool, so people sharing their opinion through Open Polling will be encouraged to join OUR so they can fully participate. As we say at OurCo, OUR is for changemakers and people who care.
